Questions cover origins, real names, voice actors and the relationships between characters across long-running series — the sort of thing that is obvious inside a fandom and opaque outside it. Because characters travel further than the games do, this is the most accessible of the video-game topics: people who have never played a minute can still identify a surprising number by silhouette alone.
