How it works
The host chooses a game and creates a private room. Friends use the room code to take a seat, then the group plays together in real time. The same room system handles seats, chat, rematches and series. Boardit does not include built-in voice or video chat, so remote groups can keep their usual call open beside the game.
Room codes are treated as access credentials: room URLs are excluded from search, and codes are redacted before analytics. Session replay, heatmaps and automatic click capture are disabled.

Review and coverage notes
Honest criticism is welcome. Reviewers can play the live public build without a review key. Most games need at least two people and Who's the Spy needs at least three. There is no single-player mode, built-in voice chat or paid tier. For a guided multiplayer session, interview, additional artwork or permission to record a private test room, email hello@playboardit.com.
